Job Summary

The Product Marketing Manager (IT) is responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies for specific IT products or services. This role requires a deep understanding of the IT market, customer needs, and competitive landscape. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven individual with strong analytical and communication skills, and a passion for technology.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new and existing IT products/services, including product positioning, messaging, and launch activities.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify target audiences, understand their needs, and develop compelling value propositions.  
  • Create and maintain product marketing materials, such as datasheets, brochures, presentations, website content, and case studies.  
  • Develop and manage product launches, including press releases, media outreach, and internal communications.
  • Collaborate with sales, product management, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing marketing efforts.
  • Track, analyze, and report on the performance of product marketing campaigns, identifying key metrics and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the IT industry and the competitive landscape.  
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the IT industry.
  • Strong understanding of the IT market, including software, hardware, or cloud solutions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and draw meaningful insights.  
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot) is a plus.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Passion for technology and a strong interest in the IT industry.
