About the job

Who we are:

Our name is inspired by Theodore Roosevelt’s ‘Citizenship in a Republic’ speech, which pays homage to the ‘(hu)man in the Arena’. To us, entering the Arena means committing oneself fully and accepting the risk of failure in the pursuit of an audacious, worthy cause.

We’re a close-knit team of scientists and builders redefining the future of hardware engineering. If you share our passion for delving deep into real-world problems and solving them with fully autonomous AI, join us in the Arena.

What we do:

Our collective future is being built in the physical world, but the builders of tomorrow’s technology can no longer rely on yesterday’s tools. At Arena, we’re building the world’s first AI industrial engineer designed to solve the most complex hardware and manufacturing challenges. Our product, Atlas, is built with an understanding of the behavior of physical systems, powered by a superior knowledge of core domains of physics. Paired with its ability to reason about multimodal industrial data, Atlas can test, debug, optimize, and repair physical systems and products in the real world. Arena is already trusted by some of the most advanced industrial companies in the world (AMD, Bausch & Lomb), and we're rapidly already scaling into the defense, automotive, and aerospace industries, and we’re just getting started.

About the role:

As a Product Manager, you will drive the build of new Atlas platform features from 0 to 1, collaborating closely with members of Arena's engineering, forward deployed, and GTM teams. Working on fast timelines, you'll conduct user research and translate insights into product specs. You'll embed deeply with customers and spend significant time with users for new feature discovery, usability testing, and feedback sessions.

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience driving innovation across some of the world's most vital industries—ideal for those aspiring to become founders or product leaders.

How you will contribute:

Launch new platform features - Drive the end-to-end launch of new platform features, from concept to release. Partner closely with design and engineering to define requirements, guide development, and ensure smooth implementation and successful launch.

Drive feature adoption - Drive feature adoption by partnering with deployment strategists during rollouts, gathering user feedback, and conducting onsite research to understand workflows and identify improvement opportunities.

Manage Product Backlog - Prioritize features, write tickets, and drive sprint planning with engineering leadership.

Travel domestically and internationally (up to 30% of your time)

Work in person at Arena's NYC headquarters when not traveling

You Have:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in product management, experience in AI or hardware-adjacent industries preferred
  • Full-stack technical literacy - you are comfortable discussing technical architectures, APIs, AI agents, and system design to work effectively with our engineering team
  • Proven product execution - you’ve shipped impactful features from 0 to 1 and driven user adoption. You’ve led prioritization and roadmap trade-offs, aligned design and engineering on clear goals, and executed end-to-end from concept to launch with measurable results.
  • Platform thinking - strong ability to understand how platform features create value across multiple use cases and customer segments
  • Excellent communication - you can write clear PRDs, present roadmaps to stakeholders, and facilitate cross-functional alignment across engineering, design, and GTM teams

Benefits & Perks Include:

  • 100% of the monthly premium for Aetna medical insurance, plus vision and dental coverage
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Lunch every day from local restaurants via Sharebite
  • Relocation support provided

The base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $190,000 yr. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, we also offer competitive equity and benefits packages.
