What you bring

  • A solid understanding of payment networks, the mechanics behind payments settlement and
  • Experience working within the bounds of regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Experience integrating third party payment service providers
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in intense startup or scale-up environments, navigating ambiguity and driving clear outcomes
  • Strong track record of influencing and improving company-wide business metrics through strategic product decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize global payroll payments solutions
  • Collaborate with Design and Engineering to create intuitive and user-friendly payment flows
  • Work with product teams across Remote to ensure salary payments happen on time, every time
  • Ensure seamless integration with third-party payment providers.
  • Partner with compliance and legal teams to ensure all payment features meet regulatory requirements
  • Function effectively across teams, working closely with stakeholders in Operations, Risk, Tax, Legal

The base salary range for this full-time position is $45,750 - $128,650. USD. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.

At Remote, we foster internal mobility as a key element of our culture of employee growth and development, supported by a compensation philosophy that guarantees pay equity and fairness. Therefore, all compensation changes associated with an internal move will be reviewed by the Total Rewards & People Enablement team on a case by case basis.
