Responsibilities
Position purpose: As a Product Manager within the Funding as a Service/Payments team at StoneX, you will play a pivotal role in leading our efforts to optimize and expand our customer funding solutions. Joining a dynamic team, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization to define, prioritize, and execute initiatives that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and user experience in our payment systems.
Primary duties will include:
- Lead discussions to clarify requirements, refine user stories, and validate solutions; take ownership of product design, ensuring both functional and technical considerations are met.
- Work closely with developers to assess technical feasibility and translate business requirements into actionable plans.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring readiness of features for development and aligning with business goals.
- Utilize your influence and expertise to engage with technology and business stakeholders, guiding decisions that align with strategic objectives.
- Analyze data from various systems to uncover insights, trends, and improvement opportunities; proactively propose and implement solutions to enhance system performance and data accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and drive initiatives aimed at optimizing payment operations and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and lead internal training sessions to ensure smooth adoption of new payment functionalities.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to measure the impact of implemented changes.
Qualifications
To land this role you will need:
- 4+ years of experience in product management roles, with a focus on payments or fintech.
- Prior experience with system integrations and understanding of API and system integration principles.
- Results-driven mindset, ability to manage change and drive initiatives forward.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of working effectively across global, cross-functional teams.
