Product Governance Manager

Our client is a leading global asset management house. Due to continued company growth and success, they are now looking to recruit a Product Governance Manager to join their high performing Product team on a permanent basis.   Key responsibilities: Assist to enhance the Product Governance & Value Assessment Framework to meet regulatory requirements and expectations and protect investors' best interests. Represent the Product team at a series of Committee meetings. Contribute to ideas for investment product “deep dives” with Heads of across the business. Draft quarterly performance reports to be presented at Product Governance Committee Provide ongoing monitoring of all products and management of Product Governance processes, policies and procedures. Liaise with and work in partnership with external stakeholders including the FCA. Maintain a good awareness of investment markets and regulatory / governance frameworks. Ensure adherence to legal requirements, the maintenance of compliance and the good conduct of the business.   Candidate profile: Strong experience within a product governance related role in asset management. Confidence in building strong working relationships. Background in conducting AoV reviews and statements. Awareness of the regulatory environment within financial services and applicable FCA and EU regulation e.g. SFDR, ESMA. Strong understanding of investment products.
