The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Process Engineer to join a growing start up organisation.
Our client will offer a range of modular production systems to the heating and transport sectors for the onsite generation of Hydrogen.
Scope of role
- Assisting the engineering team to design, specifying and sourcing components for generators.
- Generation of PFD (Process flow diagrams) and P&ID (Piping & instrumentation diagrams).
- Generating engineering documentation like technical specification documents, spec sheets, equipment/valve lists and SOPs.
- Communicating with vendors to source process equipment.
- Participate in H&S meetings and reporting potential issues/improvements in the company's H&S practices.
- Assisting operations team with root cause analysis and fault-finding activities.
Essential Criteria
- A bachelor's degree in Process/Chemical engineering (or equivalent) or 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Minimum 3 years working in an engineering design environment.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment developing first-of-kind technology.
Desirable qualifications/experience:
- Previous experience working with Hydrogen or other flammable gases in an ATEX/Ex environment.
- Previous experience specifying process equipment and dealing with vendors.
