What you'll do:
• Conduct R&D works in any of the following expertise: Robotics, AI, machine learning.
• Conduct design, development, and evaluation for R&D project delivery.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to address project needs and challenges effectively.
• Prepare project proposal, detailed technical document, and progress report.
• Engage with R&D partners (universities, tech suppliers, clients, end-users, etc.) and conduct technology commercialization events (training, seminar, conference, exhibition, etc.) local and overseas.
• Travel to Mainland China and overseas occasionally for project implementation and new technology study.
You'll be a good fit if you have/are:
• Doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related engineering and science disciplines
• Knowledge and skill in any of the following areas:
• Robotics and automation development: system integration, control, sensor fusion
• Mechanical and/or electrical hardware design and prototyping
• Proficient programming experience related to robotics, automation, and AI: include but not limited to RIS, OpenCV, TensorFlow, Pytorch.
• AI algorithm implementation and application experience, particularly in computer vision, reinforcement learning
• Working experience in technology research and development preferred.
