About the job
The University of Wisconsin-Madison Physics Department invites applications for a postdoctoral position on CMB and Large-Scale Structure cosmology, with an anticipated start date in Summer 2026. The postdoc will be working in the research group of Prof Moritz Münchmeyer. We are in particular engaged with Simons Observatory and CMB x LSS cross-correlation analyses, but the postdoc will also be flexible to pursue other interests. More info about our group can be found here: https://munchmeyer.physics.wisc.edu/
The position is initially funded for two years and will be extended to a third year depending on availability of funds and performance. The postdoc will have the opportunity to interact and work with the broad spectrum of cosmology, high-energy physics and AI for science researchers at UW Madison. Experience with data analysis of CMB or Large-Scale Structure experiments is recommended. Our group is also very active in AI for science, and an interest in this topic is a bonus.
