About the job
The Stanford Leinweber Institute for Theoretical Physics (LITP) is searching for postdoctoral fellows, including for Leinweber Physics Postdoctoral Fellows as well as other LITP fellowships. The full range of theoretical physics will be considered with particular areas of focus this year including quantum field theory and string theory, cosmology and quantum gravity, particle physics and phenomenology and quantum information science. LITP also includes a Condensed Matter theory group, and interested candidates should apply directly to that group.
LITP enjoys fruitful interactions with the Q-FARM initiative in quantum science and engineering at Stanford, the Kavli Institute of Particle Physics and Cosmology, as well as with the Stanford Mathematics Department and machine learning research centers on campus and in industry. These associations and collaborations contribute to the lively atmosphere for postdocs in LITP.The deadline for applications is November 15, 2025.
