About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to complete commercial and retail fit outs, shopping centre and body corporate maintenance, with occasional residential plumbing work. Key tasks include rough-ins, internal and external drainage, fit-offs, and the installation of grease traps and hot water units.
Reporting directly to the Director & Office Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Scheduling tasks for self and apprentices
- Maintaining compliance with WHS requirements
- Collaborating effectively with other trades on site
- Organising materials and equipment for each job
- Recording daily work in Tradify job management software
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Reliable, self-motivated and team-oriented
- At least 1 year of experience in commercial plumbing
- Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Gas, TMV or backflow endorsements (highly regarded)
- Fully qualified and licensed with white card & driver licence
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead apprentices
