PHP DeveloperAbout your role:We are seeking a skilled Shopping Cart Plug-In Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining integrations into various e-commerce platforms, including WooCommerce, Magento, and PrestaShop. You will also build and maintain a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline and develop SDKs to facilitate smoother integrations. You will work collaboratively with our product and engineering teams to create solutions that enhance user experience and improve functionality for our clients.
What you'll do:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize shopping cart plug-ins for WooCommerce, Magento, and PrestaShop.
- Build and maintain a CI/CD pipeline to automate the deployment and integration process.
- Develop Software Development Kits (SDKs) to streamline integration for developers using our solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand integration needs.
- Ensure seamless integration of payment gateways, shipping options, and product management features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to existing plug-ins and integrations.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging processes to ensure functionality and performance.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance our plug-in offerings.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams as needed.
Experience you'll need to have:
5+ years of experience in software development
- Proven experience in developing plug-ins for WooCommerce, Magento, and PrestaShop.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
- Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Familiarity with Software Development Kits (SDKs) and their implementation.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services integration.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and best coding practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- A passion for innovation and staying ahead of technological advancements.
