Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology (NUIST), formerly named Nanjing Institute of Meteorology, was established in 1960 and enjoys the reputation as âthe cradle of meteorological talents in Chinaâ. The School of Mathematics and Statistics (SMS) offers the PhDâs degree in mathematics, invites graduate students with outstanding research potential, good command of English or Chinese, who have achieved fruitful results in related research fields to apply for several PhD positions in the research groups like Differential equations, biomathematics, artificial intelligence and medical applications for a duration of two or three years. The candidate is expected to finish his/her studies with a PhD thesis and disseminate results through publications in peer-review journals and presentations at international conferences.
