People Operation Analyst

We’re looking for a People Operations Analyst to support our People Team in building operational capacity within the function. You will be responsible for developing, running and streamlining people processes with extreme attention to detail ensuring our employee experience is efficient, seamless, and human-centered from admission, onboarding to benefits management.

Location: São Paulo, Brazil

Languages: English and Brazilian Portuguese required

Time allocation first 3 months: 60% Brazil - 40% US

Role Responsibilities:

  • Own and Execute Core People Operations - Lead the full employee lifecycle in Brazil: including hiring, onboarding, time tracking, payroll, benefits, offboarding while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and alignment with global People practices. Act as the main point of contact for employees, resolving issues, and answering policy questions.

  • Ensure Accuracy, Compliance, and Process Integrity - Maintain up-to-date employee records in the HRIS and implement detailed SOPs across all operations. Regularly HR integrity audits/metrics and ensure full compliance with employment regulations, tax obligations, and company policies.

  • Drive Onboarding, Offboarding & Employee Experience - Coordinate end-to-end onboarding (first-day setup, tools, orientation) and offboarding processes with care and consistency. Support execution on local team-building events and offsites to build culture and engagement.

  • Support People Data, Reporting & Strategy - Collect and analyze people metrics such as engagement, retention, and feedback to generate actionable insights. Partner with the broader People team to refine strategy, support recruiting efforts, and scale operations effectively through data-informed decision-making.

  • Administer Local Benefits & Vendor Management - Manage local benefits offerings (e.g., health insurance, transportation), support payroll and reimbursement processes, and collaborate with external vendors as needed. Ensure all benefits and operational systems run smoothly with clear employee communication and timely support on external or legal queries.

  • Support recruiting efforts locally (coordinate interviews, manage ATS, support hiring managers).

Background and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's and University Degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, Computer Science, Science, Business/Administration, Finance, Technology, MBA, Technical.

  • 2-4 years of experience in People operations or a related administrative role in Brazil, ideally in fast-growing startups

  • Experience working with a Global People team, specifically Brazil and US

  • Familiar with local employment law and best practices

  • Proactive, professional, resourceful, and process-driven

  • Expertise with office administration technologies

  • High quality work product (PPT & Word), with excellent proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel

  • Accredited HR qualification preferred
