Part-time Technology/Computer Programming Teacher

Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy seeks an experienced professional to serve as a Part-time Technology/Computer Programming teacher beginning September, 2015. Job requirements include: Bachelor’s degree with a strong background in educating Middle School students Ability to teach Scratch to Middle School students in grades 6-8 and Python (at various levels) to Upper School students in grades 9-12 Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills Ability to function as a member of a team and to work as a team member, harmoniously and cooperatively, with administrators, teachers, students and parents A positive, strong work ethic Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner Computer knowledge applicable to the position such as word-processing skills, electronic presentation skills, web navigation skills, and email management skills For consideration, please submit a resume and cover letter to: Mr. Arthur Maiman, STEAM Coordinator, at amaiman@jbha.org
