About the job


The Electrical Engineering Technology ( EET ) program at Youngstown State University is accepting applications for part-time faculty to teach undergraduate  EET  courses. The majority of  EET  courses are application-focused providing our students with real-life experiences in the classroom and lab. Responsibilities will include teaching one or more courses and/or associated laboratories in direct current circuits, electromechanical systems (circuits for non-EETs) introduction to microprocessors, and electrical machinery. This position is renewable.  



Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university-provided tools and resources.

Minimum Qualifications: At least a  Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or foreign equivalent),  Electrical or Computer Engineering Technology (or foreign equivalent)  or closely related field. Significant industrial experience will be considered  instead of a Master's Degree. Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. 

Preferred Qualifications:  Prior college teaching, related work experience, and online teaching experience are pluses.
