Serving Maine’s Midcoast communities of Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Harpswell, and Topsham, MSAD 75 is home to over 2,350 students and more than 600 faculty and staff members.
MSAD 75 is seeking a PreK Paraprofessional to join our vibrant educational community at Harpswell Community School. Together, we can inspire the next generation of learners and leaders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Instruct individual student under the indirect supervision of a teacher.
- Support student inclusion in the classroom according to positive behavioral support plans.
- Prepare instructional materials.
- Review and reinforce learning previously introduced by classroom teacher or designee.
- Supervise student during lunch and recess.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Maine Department of Education Educational Technician I, II or III Authorization.
- State of Maine Department of Education background check (CHRC) authorization.
- Strong behavioral management skills with ability to consistently support student behavior plans.
- Demonstrated record keeping skills.
- Proven ability to function as a team member.
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50+ lbs.
