This role oversees the strategic and operational control of the Restaurants and Retail verticals. The Business Controller ensures alignment between global initiatives and local execution across 9 countries, tracking key performance indicators like cancellation rate, defect rate, and delays.As part of Rappi, you will be responsible for:
- This position acts as a cross-functional connector between Operations, Product, Finance, Commercial, and Fraud teams, enabling a frictionless operational flow and high-quality performance management
- You will be responsible for:
- Monitoring all global initiatives for Restaurants & Retail (CPGS) and validating execution with local teams
- Tracking and analyzing operational performance KPIs at global and country level (e.g., Cancel Rate, Defect Rate, Delays)
- Leading alignment and follow-up sessions with local Ops leaders to identify deviations and ensure accountability
- Facilitating cross-functional coordination among teams such as Tech, Finance, Fraud, and Product
- Documenting and escalating execution gaps, and supporting local leaders to implement tactical recovery plans
- Supporting diagnosis in collaboration with Global and Local teams
- Ensuring all post-meeting follow-ups are executed and documented, with impact evaluation and strategy adjustments as needed

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in analytics, operations, or performance tracking roles
- Strong grasp of process improvement methodologies and KPI performance management
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, both local and global
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required
- High proficiency in data analysis tools and dashboarding (SQL is a plus)
- Solid project management capabilities to lead coordination efforts across teams
- Talent for translating complex problems into actionable insights for senior leadership
- Comfortable in fast-paced, high-stakes environments with a global and strategic mindset
