Nurse Practitioner-Telehealth

We are seeking experienced Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) to join our growing telehealth team. This role offers the opportunity to provide accessible, high-quality care to patients of all ages through a fully remote platform.

Position Highlights

• Location: Remote (U.S. based)

• Schedules Available:

  • Full-Time: 40 hours/week

  • Modified Full-Time: 32 hours/week

  • Part-Time: 20 hours/week

• Shifts: 6–8 hours, scheduled in 4-week blocks

• Weekend rotation required

Responsibilities

• Deliver immediate, accessible care to patients with acute and chronic conditions across the lifespan

• Conduct comprehensive assessments including clinical history, diagnosis, prescriptions/refills, and wellness counseling

• Manage a wide range of conditions such as colds, flu, sore throats, rashes, UTIs, allergies, eye concerns, COVID, diabetes, hypertension, depression, and anxiety

• Order labs in coordination with national partners (LabCorp, Quest Diagnostics)

• Triage and refer patients as needed to appropriate levels of care

• Provide efficient virtual visits (average 9–12 minutes) through Athena EMR, maintaining the ability to see up to 4–5 patients per hour

• Participate in monthly peer chart reviews for quality assurance

Role Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program

• Current NP license with maintained RN licensure (per state requirements)

• Active national FNP certification (AANP or ANCC)

• Active multi-state licensure

• Minimum 3+ years post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care

• Experience treating newborn through adult populations

• Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage a broad scope of conditions

• Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records

• Excellent patient engagement, communication, and collaboration skills

• In good standing with Medicare/Medicaid, not excluded from participation in federal programs

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior telehealth experience

• Active multi-state NP licenses

Additional Considerations

• Candidates with extensive pre-planned travel during peak cold/flu season may not be a fit

• Comfort with technology is essential for success in a fully remote role

• Candidates seeking part-time only as a secondary option may not align with contract needs

Physical & Cognitive Requirements

• Ability to work at least 30 hours/week, including evenings and weekends

• Ability to remain seated for prolonged periods while using computer equipment

• Occasional exertion of up to 20 lbs. (e.g., lifting a laptop)

• Prompt and consistent attendance required
