The ARRA Group, a boutique healthcare recruitment firm, has partnered with our hospital client to hire a Nurse Practitioner with an (FNP) specialty or a Physician Assistant (PA-C) for a Primary Care Medical Group office.
Our Client, a Nationally recognized "Best Regional Hospital" with Magnet Designation, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to serve in this Advanced Practice Provider role as an expert clinician and patient advocate while diagnosing, planning, and prescribing treatment plans for adult patients.
Responsibilities
From evaluation, and diagnosis, develop a patient care plan and write prescriptions. Primary Care Practice encourages a collaborative experience with a lead physician and FNP/PA.
Complete electronic medical records and progress notes on patient status, treatments, and procedures, providing research and expertise for interpretation
Consult with a multi-disciplinary team including physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and medical team across departments to regularly develop comprehensive patient care plans that include interventions and treatments
Aid in the design and implementation of strategies to reduce patient waiting time, enhance the waiting room atmosphere, and improve the delivery of care
Requirements
MSN, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse OR Graduate Degree from accredited PA school
Current Licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant PA in Illinois
Certification by the National Certification Commission of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
1+ years of NP/PA experience in primary care, family medicine, medical group practice settings
