Job Overview

We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join a dynamic, patient-centered health and wellness center in Union City, CA. You’ll provide comprehensive primary care services in a collaborative environment with an average patient load of 10-12 per day.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care for employees and their family members, including acute, chronic, and preventive care
• Conduct physical exams, wound care and minor procedures
• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests
• Develop care plans and document in EMR
• Collaborate with physicians and support staff for integrated care
• Prescribe medications and refer to specialists as needed
• Educate patients and support nursing staff with clinical best practices

Qualifications

• Active NP license (California)
• State Prescriptive Authority and DEA license
• National certification (ANCC or AANP)
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
• Current CPR/BLS or ACLS certification with hands-on evaluation (AHA standards)
• Experienced in Occ Health, ED, Primary Care or Urgent Care

Schedule

• Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm

Additional Details

• Must be comfortable working as the sole provider onsite - will have 24/7 access to the Sr. NP on staff
• 4 weeks of training. Week 2 of training will be held at their Nebraska location (likely the week of Aug 11th).
