Responsibilities

Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s network and infrastructure systems.
Manage servers, storage, routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment to ensure optimal performance and security.
Develop and implement infrastructure strategies, capacity planning, and system upgrades.
Monitor system performance, identify issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of network services.
Lead infrastructure projects including migrations, disaster recovery, and network expansion.
Administer and maintain cloud and on-premise environments, ensuring proper integration and performance.
Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures to protect company data and systems.
Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and IT procurement processes.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the IT team, ensuring skill development and performance.
Prepare regular reports on infrastructure health, usage, and improvement opportunities.
Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and industry standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in network and infrastructure administration, including 2+ years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, routing, and switching.
Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
Familiarity with Microsoft Server environments, Active Directory, and Office 365 administration.
Experience in cybersecurity best practices, backup solutions, and disaster recovery planning.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Relevant certifications such as CCNP, MCSE, CompTIA Network+, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are preferred.
