Network Engineer

A California-based technology consulting company is looking for network engineers in the San Francisco and Los Angeles regions.  This is a full-time employment position at a growing firm that offers a full range of benefits. Ideal candidates would have a background in network administration in K-12 schools and strong organizational and communication skills.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work in network administration as part of a growing firm that supports multiple school sites. A strong candidate would be someone who is skilled in many of the following areas: Server Windows Server management Active Directory HyperV and VMWare environments Network Firewall configuration and monitoring (Sonicwall, Meraki, Cisco) Wireless architecture, design, management, and administration (Meraki, Cisco, Ruckus) Layer 2 and 3 switching and switch configuration at the command line (Cisco, Meraki, HP) Good understanding of various network services (LAN, WLAN, MAN, WAN, IP, DHCP, DNS) Application management Mobile Device Management (JAMF Casper Suite, Meraki Systems Manager Enterprise) Google Apps for Education management Storage SAN configuration and operation Support Level 3 support in Mac OS X and Windows desktop environments
