Network & Security Engineer (Level 2/3)

Whilst the role is based in Malaysia you will be supporting the Australian market and therefore will align with their timezone. In this role, you will be the go-to person for complex technical issues, supporting junior engineers and ensuring smooth incident management. Key responsibilities: · Take ownership of supporting tickets and incident management, troubleshooting issues end-to-end and keeping customers updated. · Be the go-to escalation point for junior engineers by guiding, mentoring and solving any complex issues. · Collaborate closely with senior engineers not only learning directly from experts but also sharing your own insights to the team. What we are looking for: · Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage clearly with customers and stakeholders. · Strong technical background in network and security support (Level 2/Level 3 level). · Flexibility to work on a rotating shift schedule as part of a 24/7 support team and be remunerated for that. · Solid problem-solving skills and the maturity to take ownership of tasks. · Experience with firewall technologies (Fortinet experience would be highly valued).
