Position Description

If you love high profile and challenging projects supporting the US Navy- Serco has a great opportunity for you! As a Military Program Analyst, you will be supporting the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) Air Warfare Division (N98), Multi-Engine Aircraft and Programs Branch Requirements Officer.

 

Serco supports the US Navy as a prime for their OPNAV N98 Maritime and Carriers Support contract. Our team directly supports the OPNAV N98 staff with analytical subject matter experts. You will be part of a 18-member contracting team that works closely with the customer, onsite at the Pentagon to deliver quality resourcing analysis. The team has been recognized by the Navy and the industry for their outstanding contributions to the contract and program. In this role you will support the Maritime (MPRA) Section Head, Deputy Section Head and Requirements Officers by assisting in the analysis during the Research and Development, Production, and MILCON requirements for the P-3C Orion and P-8A Poseidon.

 

In this role you will:


• Provide technical analyses of the P-3C Orion and P-8A Poseidon system design, integration and production plans to address the potential of proposed aircraft structure and mission system architecture changes and integration to meet Performance Based System Specification Baseline requirements.
• Provide program and PPBE analyses, planning and execution for the P-3C Orion and P-8A Poseidon Programs. Analyze financial data in support of P-8A and related systems to ensure that funding will be adequate to cover operational and technical requirements. Assist in generation of program documentation, briefs, point papers, etc.
• Provide technical analyses, planning and execution for the P-8A. Assist the government in review of technical specifications and documentation in support of P-8A production program. Analyze and monitor GFE and CM requirements. Provide analyses of configuration, deliveries and deficiencies. Analyze integration of training system requirements into production programs plans and documentation.
• Provide the following program management, acquisition and technical support for P-8 programs. The contractor shall assist with program and requirement analyses, planning, and execution for P-8 Programs.

Analyze financial data in support of P-8-related MILCON in order to establish that the funding will be adequate to cover requirements.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will havee:

  • An active Top Secret clearance is required, TS/SCI eligible is preferred.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or similar.

In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 5 years applicable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected by market survey data.

  • Minimum of 8 years experience with USN Maritime platform operations.
  • Experience in consulting directly with military customers.
  • Experience with PBIS
  • Additional desired experience and skills:

Expertise with the suite of Microsoft Tools such as Windows, Project, Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point.
