Merchandising Analyst

Summary

Seeking a detail oriented Merchandising Analyst to support merchandising operations through data analysis, product lifecycle management, and cross functional collaboration. The role partners with Planning Product Development Merchandising and Operations to drive execution provide insights on product strategy pricing and performance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales margin inventory and assortment performance to identify trends opportunities and risks
• Manage SKU setup and product lifecycle maintenance across categories and systems
• Ensure data accuracy and product integrity in ERP and PIM platforms
• Manage price changes in partnership with Planning and Merch Ops
• Research respond and resolve customer requests and service feedback
• Participate in proofing catalog and web content including naming copy dimensions and images
• Regularly proof website for SKU and copy accuracy and submit issue fixes
• Facilitate photo sample requests track receive log and tote samples
• Participate in forecasting and financial review meetings and attend weekly PD meetings

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in merchandising planning or retail analytics preferred
• Solid understanding of product merchandising lifecycle and pricing strategy
• Strong analytical skills attention to detail and proficiency in Excel
• Familiarity with ERP and PIM systems and business intelligence tools is a plus
• Excellent communication collaboration and multitasking abilities
• Proactive self motivated and comfortable in a fast paced feedback oriented environment
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
• Experience with VLOOKUP pivot tables and basic formulas
