MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN
STR Group Services are working with a leading automotive client based in Oxfordshire and we are recruiting for a Mechanical Technician on a 6-month contract, on a full-time basis. The position is paying up to £16.35 per hour (PAYE). The hours are from 7:00 am – 4:00 pm and they are looking for a Mechanical Technician to start as soon as possible.
In order to be considered for this position, you must have the following experience and skills;
* A recognised industry Mechanical qualification will be required, and previous experience is essential.
* Plumbing & Pipework experience
* Experience/ Certified in IPAF 3a & 3b
* Health & Safety Awareness
* Legionella Awareness
* Proficient in use of IT software Word/Excel etc.
* LV Electrical systems
Ideally, we are looking for the following desirable qualities, however these are not essential;
* Confined Space
* Fuel Delivery System Qualification
* Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
* Gas Safe Qualified
* FGas Qualified
* Pressure Systems
As a Mechanical Technician you will be responsible for the following;
* To evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.
* Responsible for minor installations and maintenance of site mechanical & plumbing systems including Pressure, Water and Gas.
