Mechanical Design Engineer

A global organisation is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis to work at their prestigious site in Dorset.   Working within a complex engineering environment the Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for producing new innovative designs to add to the clients port-folio of products.   Other key responsibilities include:   Supporting new product initiatives and delivering projects within time and budget constraints Producing CAD drawings Working closely with customers Producing engineering documentation i.e. BOM’s and Engineering Change Requests Work collaboratively with other internal departments   In order to be considered for this position candidates need to have proven full life cycle design experience using a top end 3D CAD package. Candidates should also hold a formal qualification i.e. HND / HNC or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related subject. It would be advantageous to have experience on the design of moving parts, mechanisms, pneumatics etc.   Benefits include 25 days holiday, pension and company bonus scheme
