Responsibilities of the Mechanical Design Engineer include:
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components for projects in healthcare, data center, life sciences, and bio-pharma industries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects, from conceptualization to completion.
- Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software applications to create detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform load calculations using Trane Trace or equivalent programs to ensure system efficiency and performance.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis and evaluation of mechanical systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and reports to internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance engineering processes and methodologies.
- Adhere to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards to meet client expectations and project requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Professional Mechanical Engineer license in good standing.
- 7+ years of mechanical design and construction industry-specific experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software applications.
- Experience with Trane Trace or equivalent load calculation programs.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word.
