Materials Coordinator
About the job
We are seeking a motivated Materials Coordinator I to support warehouse operations in a fast-paced team environment. This role will be responsible for ensuring the accurate receipt, staging, shipping, and inventory management of materials, finished goods, and samples. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team.
Key Responsibilities

Handle receipt, staging, and shipment of materials, samples, and finished goods.

Prepare and document shipments in line with GDP and company standards.

Maintain accurate inventory counts, records, and system entries.

Coordinate logistics with carriers and cross-functional teams.

Support warehouse activities including staging, sample requests, and investigations.

Guide forklift operators and contribute to daily warehouse operations.

Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, and safety requirements.

Handle clerical tasks and adapt to shifting priorities as needed.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

1–3 years of relevant warehouse or materials handling experience (regulated environment preferred).

Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.

Ability to work independently and effectively in a team setting.

Professional, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.
