JOB SUMMARY:
Strategically implement the marketing plan’s paid verticals to support clinical areas, ancillary programs and the hospital system as a whole. Develop and coordinate the identification of marketing methods, tools, budgets and vehicles to achieve plan goals to both internal and external audiences about Marion Health services. Purchase media including billboards, digital advertising, tv advertising, radio commercials, and paid social media ads. Actively participate in hospital department/team meetings and provide input to other team members on behalf of the PR/Marketing department and/or the Administrative Director. Manage inventory of Marion Health's branded gear and work as staff photographer and videographer when needed.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, management, or communication.
One (1) year of related marketing/business experience.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Experience buying media.
Experience monitoring Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
Healthcare experience.
SKILLS
Knowledge of marketing best practices and strategies.
Ability to track views/impressions for all purchased media to help direct our buying strategy.
Monitor Search Engine Optimization (SEO) efforts and manage Google Business locations for every MGH location.
Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with co-workers, managers, providers, patients and their families, and other hospital personnel on a one-to-one basis using appropriate grammar, vocabulary and word usage.
Interpersonal skills necessary to carry out duties in a professional manner, as well as the ability to work well under stress.
Highly developed technical skills to include proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and proficiently perform computer applications related to department operations and job function.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple issues simultaneously combined with ability to effectively prioritize.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
