Summary: Top-ranked multinational law firm is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Specialist to provide marketing, communications, and business development support to specific practice groups, individual partners and the business development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Business Development and Marketing Manager with event pre-planning and production

  • Evaluate the quality of various events and organizations

  • Pitch support and material updates

  • Manage and maintain a database of current and prospective clients, referrals, marketing and sales initiatives

  • Provide support to partners in the management of their contact networks

  • Draft introductions, gratitude letters, reminders and confirmations

  • Act as a resource for the partners to help them achieve their networking goals

  • Coordinate with various internal and external groups of people to schedule business development meetings and activities

  • Prepare research and marketing materials for meetings with prospective clients

  • Assist in responding to proposal opportunities

  • Assist in completing post mortems on pitches

  • Oversee data entry to CRM database

  • Manage and maintain updates to marketing client lists, templates and database

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • 5+ years of business development or marketing experience in a global professional services environment preferred

  • Experience with account management and/or customer relationship management

  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Microsoft Office proficiency is required

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM

  • Data entry proficiency

  • Ability to work necessary overtime to meet business needs
