About the job

As a Maintenance & Engineering Technician III, you’ll play a key role in keeping our frozen dough production facility running smoothly. You’ll use your mechanical and electrical skills to install, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment and building systems while making safety your top priority. In our highly automated environment, your experience with automation in manufacturing will be especially valuable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair production machinery, processing equipment, building systems, plumbing, and electrical components.

  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on automated manufacturing equipment, electrical systems, and material handling systems.

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment using pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical knowledge.

  • Support automation and controls, including basic PLC troubleshooting and instrumentation work.

  • Document work in our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to keep maintenance records accurate and up to date.

  • Communicate equipment status and maintenance needs clearly with leadership and team members.

  • Monitor contractors when needed to ensure work meets safety and company standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, processing, or industrial environment (or equivalent trade school + experience).

  • 2+ years of experience working with automated systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

  • Basic knowledge of PLCs and electrical instrumentation.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Comfortable using computer systems (Word, Excel, CMMS).

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying noise levels.

  • Flexibility to work different shifts or weekends as needed.
