Job Description:
As the dedicated On-Site Manufacturing Engineer for Formlabs, you will be the primary point of contact and face of our company embedded at one of our largest accounts. You will be fully embedded within their operations, providing hands-on technical support, maintenance, and repairs specifically for Formlabs provided assets within the location.
Job Duties:
- Serving as the daily on-site technical expert for Formlabs products, directly addressing the customer’s needs at their Mexicali, MX facility.
- Proactively and reactively troubleshooting technical issues, performing repairs, and conducting preventative maintenance on Formlabs provided equipment located at the site.
- Acting as the on-site liaison, communicating directly with the customer’s teams and Formlabs internal teams to ensure swift and effective resolution of any issues.
- Reviewing diagnostic log information to quickly determine root cause of any issues and appropriate corrective action to resolve
- Maintaining comprehensive and accurate documentation of all on-site activities, including troubleshooting steps, repairs performed, and maintenance records for Formlabs equipment.
- Processing orders for replacement parts or printer Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs)
- Contributing to a positive and productive working relationship with our customer’s personnel at their Mexicali, MX site, ensuring a consistently excellent customer experience with Formlabs products.
- Maintaining maximum uptime
- Build strong relationships with all stakeholders to foster an environment of teamwork.
- Inspire confidence in Formlabs and its products while working on the equipment.
- Employ critical thinking and problem-solving to provide quick resolution whenever possible, or device replacement when not.
- Stay up to date on Formlabs products and procedures to ensure reliable service work on all site equipment.
- Must be fluent in both Spanish and English
