Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our engineering team in our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing efficient and effective manufacturing processes to meet production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop manufacturing processes, including tooling, fixtures, and equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, quality, design) to ensure manufacturability and quality
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve manufacturing processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor) and design tools
