The Disney Experiences Technology team is responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology & digital-led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation, and Merchandise lines of business as well as other initiatives including the MyDisneyExperience app and Hey, Disney!

As a Manager of Product Management at Disney, you can combine your passion for technology and Guest experience to create compelling and delightful experiences for our valued Guests. We have an exciting opportunity for a Guest focused, strategic thinking Leader who enjoys the challenges of collaborating to get results that are pivotal to our Disney Experiences. As a Leader, you will work closely with multiple teams – Technology Engineering, Commercial Strategy, Product Strategy, and Operations - to lead a team that drives alignment, execution and business outcomes for digital and technology capabilities in restaurant and retail experiences and supply chain logistics.

What You'll Do:

Leadership and Team Management

  • Influences, coaches, and mentors direct and indirect reports with a strong client focus.

  • Develops and encourages the product management and execution skills of the team, prioritizes work, and ensures delivery.

  • Leads product configuration for the retail and restaurant portfolio

Product Execution

  • Facilitates the use of digital and technology capabilities between product strategy, marketing, and business teams.

  • Leverages AI to improve guest and cast experiences, as well as drive operational efficiency.

  • Leads the implementation and optimization of Guest and Cast-facing digital tools such as mobile ordering, dining reservations, inventory tracking, and merchandise mobile checkout

  • Leverage business optimization tools to manage and prioritize business requests

  • Provides feedback and collaborates with product strategy teams on performance of capabilities and how to optimize them

  • Documents existing capabilities and their configurations

Collaboration and Communication

  • Communicates effectively with strong written skills, presentation deck creation, and oral communication to groups at all levels of the organization.

  • Partners closely with Operations, Commercial strategy, and cross-functional technology product teams to define and create a prioritized backlog of business requests.

  • Conducts program and product meetings at leadership and executive director levels

  • Works with product strategy leaders to inform the capability development lifecycle

Required Qualification & Skills:

  • 8+ years in digital or technology roles in the retail industry, with focus on increasing responsibility

  • 5+ years leading a Product team

  • Experience with agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, etc.)

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and organize seemingly disparate streams of work

  • Experience working in a collaborative environment, including mentoring direct and indirect reports and individual contributors

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other Technology teams and operational departments.

  • Experience in synthesizing complex or diverse project data and information Skills, Knowledge, Experience, and Education Desired:

  • Experience with retail and restaurant capabilities such as point of sale, dining reservations, mobile ordering, and digital content management and configuration tools

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience
