The Manager - Digital FAAS - Data & AI role at EY is focused on leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and scalable AI solutions across the Middle East and North Africa, with an emphasis on AI Engineering and Generative AI (GenAI). Operating within Financial Accounting & Advisory Services (FAAS), the role helps clients address accounting and reporting challenges through advanced analytics, automation, and intelligent systems. The position involves developing and deploying AI/ML systems using modern tools such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and cloud-native services across Azure, AWS, and GCP. It includes guiding adoption of large language models (LLMs) and GenAI platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, Azure OpenAI, HuggingFace, and LangChain to support use cases including financial document analysis, reporting automation, virtual assistants, and code generation. The manager ensures that AI-driven solutions are scalable, ethical, explainable, and compliant with governance standards. Key responsibilities also include overseeing full AI lifecycles—data preparation, model training, validation, MLOps, and post-deployment monitoring—while mentoring junior professionals and supporting proposal development and business growth initiatives. The position also calls for staying current with AI trends and contributing to EY’s AI transformation capabilities. Candidates are expected to have strong technical and project management expertise, the ability to lead diverse teams, familiarity with data architecture models (data mesh, data fabric), consulting or in-house transformation experience, and deep understanding of responsible AI practices.
