As a Maintenance Technician, you would play a vital role in the Fulfillment Center and will be asked to demonstrate on a daily basis an understanding of mechanical and electrical theory. In addition you will be asked to conduct preventive/predictive maintenance techniques, projects and troubleshooting. As a Maintenance Tech you should also have the ability to lead other Jr Maintenance Techs, design solutions for difficult problems, able to manage outside contractors, be on call for emergencies, ability to handle multiple projects and daily activities.

What you will do: (may include but is not limited to the following)

• Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems, both electrical and mechanical.

• Maintain and troubleshoot motors, photo eyes, relays, proximity sensors, solenoids, motor starters, pulse position indicators, etc.

• Ability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting systems, transformers, and wiring methods and materials

• Ability to follow a Preventive Maintenance programs.

• Physically walk and inspects facility on a daily basis and addressing corrective issues.

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.

• Represents the company in a professional and courteous manner.

• Mentor technicians by motivating, providing guidance and directions to help them achieve their goals

• Perform preventative/ predictive maintenance of conveyance equipment using the appropriate job plans, procedures, and manuals Reviews daily work order priorities with the Maintenance Technician Manager at the beginning and end of each day.

• Performs routine maintenance tasks, minor maintenance request, routine preventative maintenance, and repairs as needed to all common areas and equipment.

• Track and store department inventory, including spare parts.

Physical Requirements/Demands:

• Lift, carry, push/pull and move totes, equipment, parts, etc. Up to 100lbs with assistance.

• Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head.

• Engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists.

• Ability to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.

• Ability to work in construction /distribution environments that may be noisy, unlit, unheated, not air-conditioned.

• Continual standing and/or walking an average of 5 miles daily.

• Ability to work in conditions that may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours and wet or uneven surfaces.

• Ability to use hand tools, material handling equipment and occasionally maybe asked to operate a company vehicle

• Other physical requirements may apply.

What you can bring:

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED preferred

• A valid driver’s license maybe required

• A positive, team-oriented attitude and have the ability to work with a diverse group of people and customers

• Available to work an assigned shift including overtime. (The building operates 24 hours a day 7 days a week including holidays) Schedule will be discussed during interview.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize work functions

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Have an understanding of automated conveyor systems

• Predictive/ Preventative maintenance tools and procedures

• Ability to use basic hand tools and powered tools

• PC competency, Word & Excel and Windows OS

• Electrical and electronic principles

• Knowledge of N.E.C.

• Blueprint and electrical schematic reading.

The hourly range for this position is from $21.63-$25.96/hr. The range provided includes the base salary that Fabletics expects to pay for the role. Offered hourly rate will be dependent on factors including the scope and complexity of the role, candidate’s related work experience, subject matter expertise and work location.
