Maintenance Manager

Role Objective:
As a Maintenance Manager, ensure that maintenance planning & scheduling, inspections and maintenance engineering, and maintenance execution activities are correctly implemented and executed with the optimum human resources in terms of number and capabilities, and following the company standards.

Lead Transformation from Manual to Automation

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare & supervise the annual Maintenance plan to guarantee the efficiency of the workflow to achieve department objectives

  • Supervise maintenance and Capex staff by determining workloads and schedules; develops, interprets, and implements policies and procedures, and ensures they reach their full potential.

  • Manage all required techniques of building maintenance and equipment calibration.

  • Provide information related to projects, including resolving problems, handling complaints, and providing technical expertise.

  • Arrange schedules for machine repair, maintenance, and installation to avoid any delays.

  • Manage and supervise maintenance on utilities to provide a continuous supply of electric power or gas required for operations.

  • Authorize the purchasing of tools, spare parts, equipment, and supplies required for operations, within company limits and assigned budget.

  • Discuss with relevant departments to resolve maintenance problems.

  • Participate in all projects to enhance productivity and overcome obstacles on production lines.

  • Collaborate and propose ideas for improvement for the Facilities

  • Assure the implementation of policies, procedures, and work instructions

  • Carry out management appraisal and development of direct reports in line with business objectives and promote good team working principles across engineering and production areas.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS

Education: Bachelor’s degree (Engineering: Mechanical or Electrical field)

Work Experience: From 10 to 15 years of experience in the same field – preferably in FMCG

Knowledge: Safety practices and principles related to maintenance activities, Corrective and Preventive Maintenance.

Language Knowledge: Excellent Command of both Spoken and written Arabic and English.
