SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Holder of this position will be responsible of ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of orders to Jotun customers, to meet both on time in full (OTIF) and Internal Delivery Performance (IDP) in a cost-effective manner.

This position reports to the Logistics Manager and will be based in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Responsibilities: 

• Close coordination with the Customer Service Departments to address problems or necessary changes in sales orders.
• Monitoring product availability, tracking orders’ dispatch timelines, and forecasting to ensure the punctual delivery of customer orders.
• Preparing reports, monitoring, and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Warehouse/Logistics operations.
• Preparing of shipping documentation as needed and communicating any additional labelling requirements to relevant parties.
• Developing optimal transportation routes for the movement of goods, considering factors such as distance, cost, and time constraints.
• Ensuring compliance with local transportation regulations and requirements

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Emirati national as part of the Emiratization program initiative by UAE Government ( Nafis)
• Work experience: 1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or industrial engineering
• Fluency in English
• Good user of Microsoft Office tools ( Outlook, Word and Excel)
• Knowledge of ERP( Enterprise Resource Planning)system
