Opportunity Highlights
• Schedule: 7 on / 7 off, 12-hour shifts (7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.)
• Job Setting: Inpatient coverage of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery patients
• Type of Cases:
– Vascular Surgery: ICU (co-management with Critical Care) and floor patients
– Cardiothoracic Surgery: Floor patients only; no CT-surgery ICU coverage
• Responsibilities: Overnight management of post-op and step-down patients, coordination with attending surgeons and ICU teams
• Surgical/Call Requirements: No OR responsibilities and no call
• Credentialing: Streamlined onboarding; emergency privileges available

Minimum Requirements for Consideration
• Board Certified / Board Eligible: Physician Assistant – Surgical or Acute Care focus preferred
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Licensure: Active North Carolina license or open to candidates eligible for NC licensure
