About this role:
The Legal Counsel reports directly to the General Counsel and serves as an in-house attorney to support the company’s legal needs.
The primary responsibilities of this position will be to work on a variety of commercial agreements, including customers, vendors, service providers and partnership agreements, as well as handle privacy-related matters.
Ownership & responsibilities:
Negotiate, draft and review various commercial agreements (NDA’s, sales, procurement,
licensing, etc.).
● Create and maintain standard template s, business processes and internal policies.
● Address privacy and data protection matters pertaining to Connecteam’s business.
● Provide legal advice and work closely with our marketing and sales divisions.
● Remain abreast of legislative changes and adapt company policies to maintain
compliance.
● Handle ad-hoc assignments and projects
Qualifications:
● 3-5 years of extensive experience (after internship) working in a commercial or high-tech
department of a leading law firm and as an in-house counsel;
● Demonstrates strong teamwork skills by actively collaborating with colleagues, and
providing support to company’s different stakeholders to ensure collective success in
legal matters and projects;
● Skillfully distinguishes critical legal issues from less significant ones, prioritizing tasks
and resources efficiently to achieve optimal outcomes.
● LLB (or equivalent degree) and current Bar admission (or equivalent registration);
● Experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide variety of commercial
agreements and related legal documents, software license agreements, NDAs, and
reseller/distribution agreements;
● Experience with data privacy laws and HIPAA - strong advantage
● Super organized, detail-oriented with strong analytical skills;
● Ability to work independently and own projects;
● Excellent interpersonal skills;
● Excellent written and oral communication skills, both in English and Hebrew.
