JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Draft and finalise agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the Company’s full legal rights.
- Provide support to all business units with contract management and filing.
- Apply for and maintain relevant licenses for the businesses and products of the Company.
- Work closely with business units to align ways of work, convey recommendations and advice and train all stakeholders under the Company’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
- Regularly monitor compliance with internal governance policies.
- Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations.
- Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues.
- Communicate and negotiate with external parties (clients, regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.), to create relations of trust and to drive good understanding with all related parties
- Advise and/or provide training to stakeholders on all agreements and related laws as necessary.
- Support and coordinate with any compliance, litigations or audit-related work.
- Provide advice related to employment law, if required.
- Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to all stakeholders in the Company.
- Stay abreast of alterations in legislation that impact the Company.
- Report to the Head of Legal and Corporate Affairs and assist with special projects as assigned.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a law degree from a recognized university;
- At least 6 years of experience gained in the law firm and/or in-house;
- Thai nationality only;
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization;
- Ability to work both independently and with supervision;
- Fluent in spoken and written English;
- Well-organized and conduct work with integrity and responsibility.
