We are hiring a self-motivated Lead Project Manager in Cohesity’s Professional Services team. The successful candidate will work directly with customers and architects, consultants, delivery managers, sales team and PMO. He or she will coordinate with sales and the services delivery teams ensuring risks are mitigated and products can deliver value to our customer. We are looking for a dedicated, talented and creative individual who excels within a fast paced, high-energy team. As a Project Manager, you will be an individual contributor focused on planning and executing projects to ensure scoped services are delivered on-time and within budget and showcasing the value of Cohesity’s products/solutions in International region, reporting to PMO. This is a critical and demanding position, works across the project services lifecycle, for controlling the delivery and profitability of our projects to the ultimate goals of enhancing our customer satisfaction. This role ensures that our customer solutions are designed, implemented, and delivered to the highest standards. We are a customer-obsessed passionate team. We are looking to expand our team of project managers who are excited about bringing endless value to their customers by simplifying the world of data management.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE

• Act as the primary point of contact for the customer with regards to Cohesity Services’ projects

• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation and risk management

• Coordinate and lead project team meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration

• Manage project budget, providing the revenue and cost project forecast with accuracy

• Manage internal and external stakeholders during escalations for a smooth resolution

WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management in IT Services

• Very good communication and presentation skills (verbal/written/presentation)

• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with other members of the Consulting Services Organization, Technical Services, and Sales

• Can prioritize a heavy workload to meet both short term and long-term objectives

• Proven good escalations management

• Changes or expands existing solution requirements with customer executive decision makers

• Possess the ability to manage expectations with multiple stakeholders, with conflicting priorities

• Manage complex projects that require a high level of negotiation and conflict resolution abilities

• Management of project delivery resources

• Management of customer, including a level of commercial responsibility and scope control

• Definition and ownership of the delivery methodology for the project

• “Can do” and “do whatever it takes” attitude and approach to working practices and demands of the business

• Able to work independently and run projects

• Problem-solving attitude

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Ability to travel - if needed

• Proficiency in English and Japanese

• Tools: good knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of other project management tools is a plus

Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
