Designation: Lead Engineer-Devops Education: B.E/B.Tech Experience: 9-12 Yrs Location: Whitefield, Bangalore Roles & Responsibilities: 1:Cloud Platform Expertise: Leverage AWS services for infrastructure management, application deployment, and data storage. Demonstrate proficiency in AWS tools and best practices for DevOps (Equivalent to AWS DevOps certification) 2: CI/CD Implementation: Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, test, and deployment processes. Ensure continuous integration and delivery of applications with a focus on speed, reliability, and repeatability. Container Orchestration: Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes for scalable and portable application deployments. 3: Manage and deploy applications using Helm charts, Customization manifests ensuring consistency and ease of deployment. 4: Infrastructure Automation: Develop and maintain automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform. Leverage shellscripting (Bash, PowerShell) to automate routine tasks and enhance operational efficiency. 5: GitOps Practices: Implement GitOps methodologies to manage and synchronize infrastructure and application configurations using version-controlled repositories. Collaborate with development teams to enforce best practices for version control, branching, and code review. Must have Skills: 1: Strong understanding of AWS Services, architecture, and best practices. Strong background in scripting, automation, configuration management, and infrastructure-as-code practices (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Cross plane, Pulumi etc.) Strong knowledge on Unix based operating systems & workload management and networking systems. 2: In-depth knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). Familiarity with GitOps practices and Helm charts and Customization. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. 3: At least 6 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on the below-mentioned technologies: Proficiency in shell scripting, especially Bash or PowerShell. Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (Git). AWS DevOps Engineer certification or equivalent is required. 4: Experience with incident management and post-incident reviews. Experience with configuring, customizing, and extending monitoring tools is a plus. (Datadog, Cloudfuse, Grafana, Splunk, Prometheus etc.) AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer is a plus. |
