Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification: Master’s (MA/MSc) in Gender Studies from a HEC-recognized university.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Government, autonomous/semi-autonomous, or private sector organizations of national or international repute.

Age Limit: Up to 40 years.
Job Description
Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) is seeking a Gender Specialist for the World Bank Funded Electricity Distribution Efficiency Improvement Project (EDEIP).
The selected candidate will be responsible for:

Designing and implementing gender equality strategies within project frameworks.

Ensuring compliance with World Bank gender guidelines.

Supporting the organization in integrating gender perspectives into planning, monitoring, and evaluation processes.
-
Promoting gender awareness and capacity building across departments.

Preparing progress reports and providing technical input for policy development.
Contract Details
-
Job Type: Contract-based (till completion of the project – 30 June 2027)

Remuneration: Rs. 185,800/- (all inclusive) per month
