About the job
We are seeking a Network Engineer to design and implement local and cloud networks. You will be responsible for strategic planning, architecture, high level design, security, and optimization of the Enovix network. Also you will set and ensure standards and architecture. You will work with infrastructure team to ensure systems, applications, and connectivity are deployed securely and adheres to security and compliance policies. Support the network architecture needs of the business and our partners. Work with the Security Policy group to improve security policies by filling gaps and providing subject matter expertise. Lastly, you will facilitate progress of projects as a subject matter expert, working within and outside of the System Engineering area.
Responsibilities:
· Assessment and recommendations regarding network management applications, systems, and process
· Network design and architecture
· Overall project development activities and successful implementation
· Communication to project and SDS management
· Assessment and recommendation regarding the overall infrastructure health
· Create and maintain detailed design and support documentation
· Research new tools and technologies
· Knowledge transfer to supporting teams (turn-over)
Qualifications:
· What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:
· 10+ years of experience in Network Design, Network Management, and/or Network Security
· Experience with enterprise network, management, and security technologies
· Experience with TCP/IP and common network protocols
· Experience with routing, switching, and IP subnetting
· Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Google)
· What’s Needed- Preferred Qualifications
· PCNSA, CCIE, CCNP, CCNA, and / or other technical certifications highly desirable
· Experience with virtualization technologies, Cisco networking technologies, Application Network Services including SLB, GSLB, and Application Acceleration technologies
· Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco Catalyst Switches, Cisco Wireless controllers, Cisco ISE Authentication Server is highly desired
· Experience with data center LAN and WAN design
· Experience with WLAN design
· Experience performing detailed Risk Assessments
· Technical writing experience
· Strong troubleshooting skills including detailed packet capture and analysis
· Cloud background desired
· Proficient knowledge of project management methodologies and or leading large technical projects
· Demonstrate strong communication and inter-personal skills
· Proven ability to succeed in a multi-task, team-oriented environment
· Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail
· Demonstrated ability to work effectively with limited supervision
