Junior Dairy Farm Manager - FM000984

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Agricultural diploma/degree advantageous
• Previous dairy experience and AI ability advantageous
• Computer literacy essential
• Previous experience with dairy and herd management programs advantageous
• Ability to speak Zulu
• Must have a drivers license
• Previous pasture management, irrigation management, animal health management experience highly advantageous

 RESPONSIBILITIES

• Management of morning and afternoon milking
• Management of calves, dry cow, heifer, mating groups
• Management of treating sick animals
• Pasture and irrigation management
• Involved with maintenance
• To motivate and work well with staff to achieve goals as a team
• To problem-solve efficiently and effectively
