IT Operations Manager

We are looking for an IT Operations Manager to join our public service client based in Worcester. The role's primary purpose is to be responsible for the control, transition, governance, operation, and management of all ICT services that comprise the client estate. • Extensive experience as IT Ops Manager, Service Delivery Manager, IT Manager, IT Customer Services Manager
• Experience in working in a large, complex and multi-faceted organisation.
• Strong IT background in IT service delivery, governance, and assurance.
• Experience in managing large revenue budgets of circa £20M
• Substantial stakeholders’ management experience
• ITIL framework certification or equivalent framework experience
• At least one professional management qualification or academic degree

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Operations Team
• The control, transition, governance, operation, and management of all ICT services
• Internal and external stakeholders' management
• ICT customer service strategy, policy, practice and procedure.
• Acting as a principal adviser on all aspects of service
• The resolution of performance challenges through service improvement plans
• Management and control of operations revenue and capital expenditure
• Accurate and timely production and publication of all necessary Operations reports
