Investment Specialist

An exciting opportunity to join a leading global asset management firm. This role will interact closely with the investment and distribution functions providing expert investment advice to investors. Key responsibilities: Engage with clients on the product range, investment outlook and provide technical information on the investment process and proposition Work closely with the sales team and support on converting new prospects into clients Attend client meetings independently or alongside Portfolio Managers to promote the product range Provide investors with regular key updates on performance, portfolio changes and market outlook Respond to client queries that require technical investment response Liaise with marketing team to maintain high quality marketing material and research including introductory pitches, quarterly update presentations and ad-hoc client materials Candidate Profile: 2-4 years’ relevant experience at an asset manager High level of investment knowledge with a good understanding of fixed income and alternative asset classes Demonstrated ability to build trust and confidence in managing client relationships Strong communication and presentation skills Proactive and ‘can-do’ attitude to work Working towards CFA qualification preferred Strong academic profile Mason Blake acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
