THE ORGANIZATION: Top-Ranked AMLaw Firm
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate client file requests
- Coordinate data/file destruction requests
- Prepare reports and summaries through data manipulation and analysis
- Analyze reports and data patterns to identify duplicative records or data anomalies
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data stored within the Firm
- Perform searches in the Firm’s databases and Records Management Systems
- Prepare electronic media for digital archival and retrieval
- Reconcile offsite box vendor reports against Firm’s records
- Research and reconcile issues through analysis of historical data
- Coordinate with other offices for file retrieval, archival and destruction
- Coordinate attorney departure file and email reviews
- Reconcile files of terminating legal assistants
- Coordinate case room work
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- 5+ years of related experience in a law firm or professional services environment
- Familiarity with productivity tools used for file transfers and copies: FTP, RAR, ZIP and TrueCrypt
- Knowledge of department operation and procedures pertaining to the management of paper and electronic records
- Knowledge of corporate and litigation file types
- Previous experience with electronic filing and paper-to-digital conversion
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organization skills
- Detail-oriented
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
